"Face in the hole", painting for "beach party" in London.
Painting  for 'Beach Party' in London, 2022.

I have a background in film design and I recently completed a Master's in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.

I live in London with my two children, their imaginary guinea pig and chicken. Drawing in sketchbooks the weird and wonderful facets of urban everyday life, has  been a strong impulse for my illustration projects, which include picturebooks, non-fiction children's books, illustration for chapter books but also commissions for calendars, cards, artist books and editorial work.

I experiment with printing techniques such as lithography, screenprint and risography and customise my approach to each project.

I am passionate about dance and draw inspiration from poetry, film, delving into past and distant worlds, raiding flea markets, toy and junk shops.
